sometimes things on poopee girl make no sense. like who the fuck walks around with a teapot as a fashion accessory, yet its cleary supposed to be one as its in the new "unique accessories" piyo catcher. the piyo catcher is a new thing, where yeah...its a virtual UFO machine and little avatar things pops up and suprises you with its fuglyiness (more or less).
everything except the black tank-top is the haul from these new accessory catcher.
some ugly ass feather earrings, ugly flower belt and bracelet. some tights which i can't tell if they are supposed to be grey and pink, or some muted purple?

the "unique" one is pretty hilarious.
a pink bear waist pouch (awesome!), headphones, butterfly tattoos, teapot (again wtf), strawberry handkercheif, some journal/notebook thing?, a head band that i assume is devil horns with a rose corsage but i am insisting is a stag beatle instead, and the icing on the cake...hot pink shutter shades. i didn't even think people even wore those anymore except for Makoto Peace from Def ROCKSTA...

this post is going to make me come off as a total asshole, probably because i am.
this post isn't intended to come off as "i'm a better fan than you because i feel this way." it's just a rant because they are fun once in awhile, especially when it comes to idols.
i am not a rabid Jin fan, so the things i say below aren't jumping to his defense because he is the Akanishi. but because he is a member of that sparkly thing that is the K-A-T-T-U-N that i love. if Kame, Koki, Guch, Maru or Ueda were in his position, well this post would be about one of them instead. so as with all the members, he has my full support no matter how much i like to make fun of him at the gym working on his guns for 5 hours straight. shouldn't he be lookin like popeye now?.
i had alot of things to say without sailor speak that were mature that i left on other blogs, but this is my corner of the universe to piss, and piss i shall! on to the goods!

i still lolforever at whatever going on on Koki's head, who the fuck thought that looked good. he looks like a pencil earser ♥. cartoon KAT-TUN II YOU is my favorite album (Jin-less). every song just BUMPS, seriously Jumpin' up, how do you not want to tear up the floor with your air force ones on?! GET OUT DA FAKER. Jin has an amazing voice and the skankiest dancing around, but if they can put out an album this good without him, i don't think their tour without him is such a big deal. they have done it before. the rundown:

the time has come, Jin needs his in-N-out fix. he will embark on a journey across the ocean to a magical place called LA again, only this time instead of vodka and paper hats, he will be performing solo!

i tried reading through the comments all over the internet, may have only skimmed the tip of the iceberg, and i may just be a total bitch...but half of it is so fucking annoying. no wonder i turned off the computer when the guy went on "hiatus" (aka paid party vacation) last time.

chill out girls, no one will ever know the "real reasons" behind why this would happen at such an important time (overseas tour) for KAT-TUN. you can play the bash and blame game "omg, it's a conspiracy to make Kame popular again!1!". but isn't it easier to accept the situation for what it is. i alsmost feel stupid saying that because i'm posting about it, but i realized that mostly im posting about some fan wanking and not the asia tour/jin solo situation itself.
the music industry over there, especially Johnny's is so secretive and fucked up. so just listen to what the media says about it, and roll with the punches. come oct we'll see what happens. who cares if it was his decision, or the company, it's going to happen and there is shit you can do about it, except as a fan be supportive. not raising a stink about "6 MEMBERS NOT 5111!!!!!111" and "HE'S SO SELFISH11!!!!"
or the un-avoidable stupidity that is "if Jin isn't going to be performing with KAT-TUN, i'm not going to go to their concerts".
when people say shit like that, it leads me to belive they don't even listen to music. do yourselves a favor and get your brain out of your vagina/dick, clean the wax out of your ears and turn PEACEFULDAYS up to volume 11. otherwise go google his naked AnAn magazine scans to touch yourself to and shut the fuck up! damn, that felt so mean just to type it out. but its just that its annoying how some people parade around going "I LOVE *insert group/band name here*!" but jump ship as soon as *random guys name* goes off and does their own thing.
like once i was at a live with a girl who shall remain nameless and she says to me "you know i don't listen to *band we went to see* anymore, not since *name of old bass player* left". i wanted to ask what she meant...like did she not listen to them at all anymore, or did she not listen to anything after he left the band. but either answer would have made no sense to me whatsoever, so i didn't say anything. just thinking about it makes me feel like i'm in toon town, its completly fucking bonkers! i think that's what pisses me off about alot of pretty boy music fans, it seems like faces come before anything else. moving right along...

KAT-TUN, is coming to a country near you, how is that not a good thing? even without Jin, i'm sure there will be enough Koki to go around to MAKE U WET. do you know how bad i'd like to see the Guch tapdance through glitter?! and they are bringing Kis-My-Ft2 with them. nuff said.
Jin will be the first Johnny's to perform in the US as a solo act. again, how is that not a good thing? he will shower the audience with LOVEJUICE and rack in the hoes, converting them into mindless K-T zombies like me. they will be more popular than ever. since i can't run off to South Korea or Taiwan, i'll be off to Los Angeles where i will try to persuade A---- to dance our ass off to his slick grooves. Wait for me Jin!
so really, to the collective being of K-T that i adore, good luck where ever you end up. i'm cheering for all you boys.

i have more on the matter, but it's the internets and my opinion means shit, so i'll let Jin have the final word. (i don't know which i like more, the in-n-out version or the original, oh well they both stay)

so suddenly i have decided to take up my old hobby of making my own alcohol. i stick to simple, wine and cider. grain and beer, too complicated.

the first time i ever tried to make my own, i did well, i made 3 gallons of hard cider, so i felt confident. but drinking that batch with friends led to me not paying attention to the next couple of gallon bottles fermenting. and one of them exploded (during a party) and hit the ceiling and sprayed anyone standing around in a sticky, stinky yeast mess.

so i had a shitload of grapes (ugh, my aunts and COSTCO) , and decided to start a yeast colony. my mashed grapes, added the sugar and yeast. i only got enough juice for a little over 1/3 of a gallon bottle. so tomorrow i will but some grape juice and add my little starter (that is happily bubbling away under my sink). it wont be the kind of wine i like to enjoy, but rahter the kind i just drink cause it does the job.

my cider is doing good though. if i remember clearly, it tastes like even sweeter apple-y Steel Reserve. which is funny because i used to bottle it in old 211 40 bottles.

Bresaola with mixed greens, tomatoes, marinated mushrooms, kalmata olives and pepperoncini. lemon/caper vinaigrette.

Salami in a chopped romaine antipasto salad with goat cheese and lemon/dijon vinagrette.

for breakfast:
Capicola on a bagel with cream cheese, mixed green sprouts tossed in lemon juice and capers.

i decided to spoil myself with food instead of a nice bottle of wine.
went to the fish market and got myself some some tuna. i didn't really feel like eating it the way i usually do which is a rough dice, a little kewpie and some rice. or tataki with daikon.

i felt like i wanted pasta. but i didn't want to cook such a pretty chunk of fish (i wish i had thought to take a picture of it before i started fucking with it).
rough chop - let it marinate in some ponzu, toasted seasame oil, rice vinegar, let it chill in the fridge while i cooked the linguine and made the sauce.
heavy cream, garlic, green onion, wasabi.
found some mixed greens sprouts and an avacado. and we get what you see above + green onion and black seasame.

WHOA FUCK. a live action BECK. i've always wished for this. and hello, AWESOME FUCKING CAST.
i've read a few complaints...oh a bunch of pretty boys, Sato Takeru can't act, he was terrible in Kamen Rider Den-O, all the usual things that dudes tend to bitch about whenever hot guys get cast in movies/dramas that make girls who potentially wouldn't be interested, want to see it.
but shit, BECK is all sorts of awesome, and a hot cast makes it that much better. who cares about acting abilities when it comes to live action manga adaptations anyway.

Kiritani Kenta is sooo perfect as Chiba.

but who's going to play Maho?
somehow i can see Kitagawa Keiko or Toda Erika since i'm assuming given the ages of the actors, that they will be older in the movie than they are in the manga.

i had this big looong post typed up about Kamiji Yusuke Monogatari since i actually watched the whole thing. i had only skimmed through it a couple times when it aired in March. but that will have to wait and be backdated. there is a fairly sad part about Yusuke and his first pitcher. (oh, they trained to The Blue Hearts).

instead i will post my favorite thing. getting my Blythe's Drunk. fuck tea party, let's have a beer party. too bad you can't see, but one of those is a tiny bottle of Colt 45.

i guess it's not very known that i'm into B's.
when i was a little kid the only girly things i was into was my little pony and popples. my favorite stuffed toys were Little Foot from the land before time and my pet monster which i had two of cause my dog pissed on one and i cried about it.
i had dinosaur bed sheets and collected fossils. i was into ninja tutrtles, marvel, bucky o'hare. i loved playing baseball and soccer. catching frogs and snakes. i always had hair shorter than my shoulders and even though i have this annoying love of pink, i always have alot of bruises. basically i'm a tomboy. so it's weird that now that im grown up, i play with Blythes and dress them in very girly clothes.

i only had 1 tiny roma tomato. and i didn't feel like walking the 2 miles to the store and back so i stuck sundried tomatos with their oil, kalmata olives, roasted red bell peppers, capers, garlic, anchovie and spanish green olives in my food processor making a chunky paste, and than simmered it.
only to find i only had rigatoni, which generally i dont like these tube pastas. but it worked out well after i panfried a few shrimp in some of the oil from the sundried tomatos. i have decided that i like food processors.

the instant kind rules because you dont have to cut it up. i add green onion, thai red chili and furikake. it doesnt taste like anything but what you season it with. i'm just in love with the texture. its crunchy with a bite that reminds me of those cloud ear fungus which is another favorite textural food. actually after the first time i ate jellyfish i immediately thought of that kind of fungus and i learned that in japanese that fungus is called キクラゲ. or tree jellyfish.
my mom likes it, but my dad won't try it, i guess its just because its a jellyfish and he wont eat anything from the ocean unless its fried shrimp or crabcakes.

Okay, so i skimmed through jun matsumoto's new drama, Smile. i've been looking forward to it, but ohhh god. the make up on him is not a smile.
he's supposed to be half filipino, but they just made him look greasy.

i dunno, he's in prison so maybe he supposed to look unwashed there, but than they kicked into the story before his ass got locked up.

i hadn't looked at the cast list after it was announced, i only knew of MatsuJun, Aragaki Yui and Nakai Kichii. but i was pleasently suprised with:

Tokuyama Hidenori.

Oguri Shun.

i just realized all those caps are backwards, what the hell screencap device.

also Ikeuchi Hiroyuki is in it but i didn't get a screencap of him, even though hes one of the hottest dudes on earth.

its a pretty awesome cast, its kinda like 6 degrees of kevin bacon except 6 degrees of jun masumoto.

jun was in hanadan and gokusen with shun, shun was in GTO with hiroyuki ikeuchi, who was also in GTO with hidenori tokuyama, who was in HOLYLAND with yuma ishigaki, who was in hana kimi with shun and also gokusen with matsujun. okay 5 degrees. not counting all the other times. i bet the set of Smile is pretty laid back since most everyone is familiar with each other.

salmon head is one of my favorite snacks. at about 1.25+ per head, thats pretty damn cheap eats.
soak the head in cold salted water to drain any of the bloody stuff. than rinse, i usually rinse out as much blood as i can from the gills because they look nasty red. (plus it reminds me of when my jack dempsy got smashed by a falling rock in his tank and his gills flared and he was bleeding. D:)

split head down the middle, than remove the gills with kitchen scissors.

i use butter to grease the pan, and just put soy sauce and lemon on the heads and put them in the oven at 350. i don't really keep track of the time because there is so much fatty tissue in the head that the bits of meat wont get dried out, but its usually around 30-45 mins. but eventually put the broiler on high till the skin starts to bubble and get crispy.

sadly i burnt half of this guys eyeball when i dropped him skin side down on accident in the preheadted baking tray, giving him cataracts. if the eyeball doesnt touch a scorching hot pan it should still be clear after cooking unless you char the shit out of it on a grill.

the half without the burnt eyeball. the skin removed (aka eaten) showing off the cheeks. salmon cheek <3.

today i randomly checked Wataru's yaplog and he posted about a delphi session. so i checked out the キャンゼル site, and sure enough it was confirmed in their topics section.
SHIT! after 3 years they are having a revival live with all the members! last revival i went to was only miyui, mio, and mahiru. SHITSHITSHIT I HAVE TO GO!
this is like the best news ever, but than again i say that everytime i hear something involving the Delphi boys doing sessions together. i wonder who the secrets will be? i'm guessing the usual Climax guys. oh wait i bet its キャンゼル. duh.
it only makes sense plus their new CD is coming out on the 23rd, which i already pre-ordered.
i was planning to run through Tokyo in jan, so that i could birthday it up with the homegirls. but i might have to scratch that idea and start planning to rampage all over november.
okay im leaving NY today to head out to CA for a month, ad after i get back here i'll hopefully be loaded with money and its all going toward the *ship Hereford's ass back to Tokyo to see DELPHI* fund.

i left all my records in CA for the time being.
so i decided to start a collection here in NY so that by the time things get packed up and shipped out i won't be completely recordless.

A Toshihiko Tahara LP. is it S/T, i don't know, its probably just called TOSHI like it says. and a Mets album I LP. as soon as i get it i'm going to have to get album II and album III. the covers totally rule in this corny helmet hair way.

i just need something to rip my vinyl so i can listen to all awesome old johnny's groups on my iPod.

mmmm. mentaiko pasta! this shit is awesome.
one of my favorite dishes and super easy to make.

mine looks like a sloppy pile of noodle-y barf.
but trust me its delicious.
salty, spicy, with interesting texture from the tiny fish eggs.

i'm not so classy, so i just kind of throw everything together in a sauce pan so i don't know any measurements.

you need:

mentaiko
butter
cream
angel hair (i used spaghetti cause i didnt feel like going to the store)
kewpie mayo
chicken stock and a little white wine if you want.
i like green onion but i didnt have any at the moment.

scrape the eggs from the sacks.
melt the butter, add the wine and chicken stock, than the cream. turn off the heat
toss in the eggs and give it a stir.

i like putting the eggs in the mayo before mixing it in with the cream. it doesnt really matter either way how you do it, it'll taste the same.
(soo good as dip for french fries or on top of hot rice)
drain your pasta and toss in the pan till its coasted with sauce.
sprinkle with nori and green onion. or in my case, furikake.

get a fork and wolf it down. make sure to drink lots of cold beer with it.

Sup' Steve Irwin twins. Unfortunately i couldn't snipe a picture of the hot japanese dude with a green IZOD shirt on, which was randomly autographed by Don King across the shoulder.

ONT to LAX (pointless 15 min flight) to NRT.
NRT to PDX (no time for traditional layover bloody marys) to ONT.

The flight from LA to Narita was decent since i was all alone in my seat, till about half way throuh this woman decided to sit next to me.
It wasn't all that bad till she flipped on the bollywood channel and had the volume all the way so i could hear it through her head phones. She also had way too much perfume on and it gave me a headache.
